Farmer’s Daughters
Okay sooo Farmer’s Daughters is like a big yummy food place that goes “HELLO I AM A FARM BUT ALSO A RESTAURANT BUT ALSO UP ON A ROOF LOOK AT ME!!”
They have THREE big places inside the place because maybe one wasn’t enough or they got bored:
-
The Deli – This is like when your mum gives you snacks but fancier. They have food and drinks and you can sit like a big person and eat things that look very serious but taste like happy.
-
The Restaurant – This one has FIRE. REAL FIRE. They cook food on fire like cavemen but fancy cavemen wearing aprons. The smoke goes everywhere and the food says “mmm I am smoky now”.
-
The Rooftop – This is the SKY PLACE. You go up up up and then BOOM you can see the whole city like you are a superhero. And they have plants and drinks and maybe even magic but I’m not sure.
All the food comes from a place called Gippsland which is full of farms and cows and veggies and probably chickens doing chicken things. The chef man, Alejandro (that’s a big grown-up name), loves farms so much he probably hugs carrots.
They make special menus that tell “stories” but not bedtime stories… FOOD stories. Like, “Once upon a time a potato met a fish and then BOOM dinner.”
Also they care about things like the planet and the farmers and nature and all that adult stuff, but I just care that the food is tasty and big and makes my tummy go yayyyyy.
So basically Farmer’s Daughters is a big fancy farm party in the city where you eat food from the ground but cooked with fire on a roof and everyone feels very important but also full.
